Volunteering

The London Chapter views the involvement of its members in Chapter activites as very positive and rewarding to the individual, the chapter, the profession, and the industry as a whole. The Chapter aims to create opportunities for volunteering for its members to contribute in various ways.

The Chapter has the following opportunities for it's members to be involved in Chapter activities:

  • the web site group - to help with ensuring content is available and maintained as necessary;
  • events group - to help both at the monthly events and organising of the monthly events;
  • marketing group - to help provide information about ISACA, at Events and Conferences;
  • ideas that you may have may be considered depending on the time commitment required by a Board member.

These above and other opportunities involve varying levels of time commitment and necessity to carry out the activity in or around the London area (or where possible conference call).

ISACA Certifications

CISA
The Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is the globally accepted standard of achievement among information systems (IS) audit, control and security professionals.
CISM
The Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification program is for experienced information security managers and those who have information security management responsibilities.
CGEIT
ISACA and the ITGI together offer a certification for professionals charged with satisfying the IT governance needs of an enterprise, the Certified in the Goveranance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) Certifcation.
CRISC
The Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ certification (CRISC™, pronounced “see-risk”) is designed for IT professionals who have hands-on experience with risk identification, assessment, and evaluation; risk response; risk monitoring; IS control design and implementation; and IS control monitoring and maintenance.
