Stuart Okin - 'Information Security - the next 3 years'

How much change is there in the threat – what is happening out there and how sophisticated and competent are the attackers.  In addition, security specialists need to adjust to the new way we consume information technology, especially with the cloud paradigm (Microsoft are making a big push on Azure for 2010). Finally, we are fast reaching a tipping point where new emerging security technology controls are blurring the edges of physical security, information security and audit – pushing us towards convergence.  During this session we are going to explore the interplay of all of these different areas and try to make sense of what this means over the next 3 years – is this going to be revolutionary or evolutionary?
